Comrades Marathon 2008

Comrades Marathon was won by Elena Nurgalieva in 6:14:38 and Leonid Shvetsov in 5:24:49.

I have been quiet for more than a week - I have been on a training camp in Croatia and a nice big fat report will focus on that soon. I have missed the ITU Triathlon World Champs and Tour de France start but I am happy to mention the Comrades Marathon.

Always amazing Vladimir Kotov who in his mid 50s managed to reach top 10! His success is even more amazing when you realize that he has been racing professionally for several decades! I wonder how has he achieved to maintain his strength and stay free of injury for such a long time especially in a sport like ultramarathon running.
