Jay Hewitt interview

I have a friend who is diabetic and recently decided to prepare for a marathon. He said he wanted to beat the illness. I can not understand what kind of dificulties he has to go through. I only know the theory as I have never experienced his challenges.

Anyway, he has been searching online for inspiration and in the same time his apetites are slowly growing towards an Ironman (of course - the mother of all endurance events). One day he sent me a link to Jay Hewitt’s website. I was impressed. Jay has done a sub 10h Ironman while suffering from Diabetes Type 1. Amazing!
