Project Wishbone

“Amawele Wishbone Warriors” Nicola Lockhart and Vivienne Fenton are taking part in “Project Wishbone”, our challenge is to complete the “Cape Odyssey”, this is a 5 day trail race that covers 206km and it is done in teams of two - in return we would like to raise funds for 206 pairs of running shoes for kids at 5 underprivileged schools. Amawele (Irish and South African registered charity) hopes to join forces with the JAG foundation and set up running clubs in these areas - we would like the children of the future to become part of the wonderful world of running and be out there keeping fit, healthy and achieving new goals rather than being influenced by crime, drugs, sex and depression some of the side-effects of boredom and idleness.
