Top twelve most “dirty” foods

Nutrition is one of the most important elements of training. Certainly more important than any equipment or training method. If you eat badly than nothing can help you - all your efforts are wasted. One of the most crucial rules of nutrition is to eat fresh, raw and organic as much as possible. Unfortunately organic is not always available or cheap so it is also good to be informed about how to deal with non-organic produce. In this case toxic-tainted fruits and vegetables.

Strawberries are the most tainted by pesticides and other chemicals out of all fruits and vegetables - says the Environmental Working Group.

I wrote a quick blog post at Ulabibu.com about fruits, vegetables, toxics and washing. Check it out here…

I maintain a completely synthetic diet and survive on powerbars, gels and bottled water (which has been ‘purified’ so its anything but natural).

An interesting fact - I have never eaten a vegetable in my life. From the time I moved to a solid diet (3mths) my taste buds have simply rejected vegetables and despite everyones attempts to hide them in my food, I always pick up the taste and am forced to spit them out or face vomiting the whole lot up.

No one has been able to explain it but thats how it is and I get my essential nutrients from tablets and other synthetic sources.
